  • Commercial Finance Manager

    NichollsMoisa is working with one of the fastest growing 3PL’s in Europe who are expanding their Czech Republic operations and they are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join them.

    A dynamic & agile business, they build solutions around their customers and having started with just 10 men and a shed back in the ’90 and now, at a group level, employing 800 people with a £70 million turnover in 2017, they have positioned themselves as a key innovator in the market.

    The Group is committed to grow the Czech Republic operations, with the view to have around 60 employees by end of 2018 in Czech Republic and as a Commercial Finance Manager you will be instrumental in optimising the region from a financial and commercial perspective.

    Working closely with the Head of Operations, you will be driving performance & profitability through analysis, insight and business partnering. This is not your usual finance role, where you just focus on the traditional corporate accounting side, but a role where your operations & commercial abilities will be valued and fully utilised across the board.

  • Head of Internal Controls

    I'm looking for an experienced qualified auditor to manage the Internal Controls and work in cohesion with the CFO and the internal finance team.

    The role:

    • Manage, develop, implement and perform internal controls by evaluating the adequacy of policies and processes, accounting and financial procedures and controls.
    • Ascertain compliance with policies and procedures and identify actual and potential weaknesses in controls and efficiency improvements
    • Recommend changes necessary to assure adequate and effective internal controls and agree specific actions to be undertaken by the heads of the finance department
    • Produce monthly follow up reviews of internal controls in place, and the implementation of any recommendations
    •  Review processes to ensure that internal controls are being completed in line with approved delegations of authority
    •  Liaise with CFO, external/internal auditors on reporting and control findings
    •  Manage the monthly accounting certificate controls
    •  Participate in Control and Compliance Committee and Risk Management Committee
    •  Participate in the committees and meetings 
    •  Manage all compliance matters including banking matters, tax and other topics as necessary

    Due to extensive growth, they are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and qualified candidates in the Malta office for the position of a Client Accountant where you will manage the financial accounts of your own portfolio of client companies, foundation & trusts, in close collaboration with the responsible Relationship Managers.


    Reporting directly to the Director, your responsibilities include

    • Setting up and maintaining financial administrations and relevant bookkeeping
    • preparing of monthly, quarterly, annually and ad hoc financial reports
    • preparing statutory financial statements
    • preparing or assist in preparing tax returns

The company employ nearly 800 staff around the world including Africa, America, Asia, Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East.


    • Assisting in the provision of client book-keeping to a portfolio of fiduciary and corporate clients
    • Liaison with clients, auditors and handling various requests in a timely manner
    • Completion of statutory VAT and tax returns
    • Maintaining a variety of financial information, files and records for ensuring the availability of documentation
    • Assisting colleagues in reporting requirements

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • At least one-year work experience in an accounting role
    • Part-Qualified in ACCA or equivalent
    • Attention to detail, highly organized and the ability to work on his / her own initiative and in a team
    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of Viewpoint software will be considered an asset
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
